Rapper Meek Mill is back in court! After the backing of many influential public figures in sports, politics, and music during his two to four year sentence. Meek was released earlier this year in the 5th month of his sentence. Although he was released early, Meek was not truly a free man. While Meek was in prison, a variety meetings were held for activists to voice their thoughts and opinions on the current criminal justice system and how the system seriously needs improvement. Everyone’s that is Up-to-Date with the rapper Meek Mill case, knows his case has been going on for far too long. Today, Meek Mill will be returning to Philadelphia courtroom to again, try to have his conviction overturned and have Judge Genece Brinkley removed from his case.

Meek Mill Said he will back in court today at noon to ask for his drug and gun charges to be dismissed. Meek Mill’s legal team have been fighting very hard to have him cleared from all charges since his first two to four year sentence. The Official Facebook Event Page detailed the situation as: “Meek Mill might be home, but he’s not free. On Monday, June 18th, he’s going back to court – and back to the Judge Brinkley, the widely criticized and wildly inappropriate jurist overseeing Meek’s case. Enough is enough. It’s time for the Judge to dismiss the case and let Meek live his life. So we’re going to be there on Monday to show Meek support, and raise our voices against the unjust criminal justice system. Please join us.”

Tomar at 12pm I’m back in court fighting for freedom! ????????
