Wiz Khalifa has interview with Billboard as he talks about his up and coming album “Rolling Papers 2”. The fans have been waiting for the paper rolling icon to bless the world with new music. As we know Wiz is a father to Sebastian and has spent most of his time parenting as well as touring and apparently in the studio. He talks with Big Tigger about what he has been up to and what is to come from him for his fans.
Rolling Papers is Wiz’s third studio album and was released on March 29th, 2011 by Atlantic Records and Rostrum Records. This album was his first under a major record label after his releases as an independent artist. Many remember his mix-tape days, with one of his most popular mix-tapes; “Cabin Fever” and “Cabin Fever 2” not to mention “Kush and Orange Juice”. Rolling Papers hit number two on the Billboard 200, as well as sold 197,000 copies in the United States in its first week. The album has been certified double platinum, for combined sales and album-equivalent units of two million units. Just like many albums and artist this album had good talk and bad talk, but the numbers don’t lie.
Wiz had hit songs on Rolling Papers such as “No Sleep,” “Roll Up,” and his Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping single “Black & Yellow”. Fans not only love Khalifa because of his weed smoke, but because of his versatility. Now seven years later, Khalifa has decided to unleash the sequel for his self-proclaimed classic album with Rolling Papers 2, expected to be released July 13th, 2018.
Wiz drops names that will be featured on the album while talking with Big Tigger. According to Wiz he has features with Swae Lee, Snoop Dogg, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Chevy Woods, Ty Dolla Sign, Gucci Mane, and more. The album is led by the single “Real Rich” with Gucci Mane.
