Chicago native, Chance the Rapper or rather, Chance the Philanthropist, has a passion not only for music, but for Chicago’s youth. Since announcing his commitment to bettering CPS underfunded schools with his $1 Million Dollar contribution in March, he has continued his efforts to make an impact on the public school system through his non-profit organization, Social Works.
Today, Chance the Rapper will provide the latest details of how Social Works will support specific Chicago Public Schools programs and initiatives. He will be joined by the representatives of Social Works, Chicago Public Schools principals, the Children First Fund, Ingenuity, and representatives from corporations that have pledged to support his organization’s efforts.
Most recently, Chance announced his partnership with Nando’s new Michigan Ave restaurant. The Grammy-winning performer will attend the Grand Opening on Tuesday, September 5th, and 100% of the proceeds from the 5th through the 7th will be donated to Social Works!
