Future fans were surprised yesterday when they received a new Future track… that did not quite meet expectations. The new track is titled ‘Paparazzi (dab)’ and plays on what some are calling a dying trend, ‘the dab.’ Hendrix details his famous lifestyle as the “paparazzi try to catch him.” Have no fear though, because Future hushes away the thoughts of the paparazzi with over 60 chants of a single word, “dab.” The track is infectiously repetitive as Future takes his time “dabbing” through his slowed lyrics, and the track is sure to either be a hit or miss for most. Unfortunately for Future, the track was definitely a huge miss for most. He was quick to react to the negative attention around the track, as he immediately took to twitter. Hendrix cleared up a few things about the track for fans, and let them know it was not a a product of his new project, ‘FOREVER or never.’ View Future’s response tweets below:
Amid the bad conversation circulating about Future’s ‘Paparazzi (dab),’ another Future track slowly hit the Internet. The next single from Future is titled ‘Guap on Me.’ This track seems to steer a little more close to home for the FutureHive, as reactions and comments from fans are overwhelmingly better than before. The Mike Will Made It produced song is soft yet screams what fans love about the platinum selling rapper. The slow-building back-beat creates a new yet familiar flow for Future as his auto-flow slurs on top of the track. The song takes fans back to a combination of ‘Plastic Bag’ and ‘Percocet & Stripper Joint.’ Future was quick to clean up his mess after spilling the ‘dab’ all over his fans. Luckily for Hendrix, ‘Guap on Me’ is the slow vibe that saved the day.
