In response to the recent tragic killings of Baton Rouge resident, and father of five, Alton Sterling, shot and killed in front of a convenient store,  Philando Castile, a black man shot by Minnesota police in front of his daughter and girlfriend after being pulled over and the fatal shootings of 5 Dallas Police Officers, during a #BlackLivesMatter peaceful protest, racial tensions in America are at an all-time high. Many celebrities are taking to social media to weigh in on the tragedies.

Drake pinned an open letter via Instagram on Wednesday, following the death of Alton Sterling, noting that watching the video left him feeling “disheartened, emotional, and truly scared.”

Other celebrity reactions include, Rihanna, who shared a video of a mother speaking about protecting her sons via Instagram, captioning the post, “RIP Alton Sterling #HowManyMore.” Fabolous, who saddened by the incident, powerfully asked “When is America & the judicial system that’s suppose to protect us, gonna make these officers who are killing black men take responsibility for what’s going on” via InstagramMeek Mill, in response to Fabolous, said he’s #ReadytoStandUp. Chris Brown grieved for the future of his daughter Royalty, saying, “I have a daughter to raise and when she looks at someone, I dont want her to see color!!!! I want her to see life and an abundance of possibilities and opportunities!” (via Instagram)

This morning, rappers The Game and Snoop Dogg announced Operation H.U.N.T., ‘Hunt Us, Not Today,’ a unified mission of African American men, Mexican men, and any other race of “real men” to walk to the LAPD Headquarters. The Game specifically asks that those who come out “Will stand as we are, UNIFIED. I’m calling ALL GANGS, ALL RACES, ALL GROWN MEN affiliated or not & WE WILL STAND UNIFIED.”
