Kidney Action Day is a free, fun-filled, family-friendly event with a serious purpose: helping people understand their risk for kidney disease and how to prevent it. The American Kidney Fund's signature outreach event, Kidney Action Day is held in cities—like Chicago—where rates of kidney disease are higher than the national average.
Join our sister station Soul 106.3 at Millennium Park for free kidney health screenings*, healthy cooking demos and healthy food samples, interactive fitness demos, local entertainment and children's activities. We’ll have music, prize giveaways and some of your favorite radio personalities on hand.
Kidney Action Day is free and open to the public. Pair Up with your friends and family and invite them to join you for this fun, family-friendly event.
The American Kidney Fund fights kidney disease through direct financial support to patients in need, health education and prevention efforts. For more information, visit the American Kidney Fund website.
