President Obama Still Thinks Kanye West Is A Jackass

Even though they both call Chicago home and are revolutionaries in their own rights, Kanye West is not President Obama’s favorite rapper. A reporter from The Atlantic recently asked Obama who he preferred between Jay-Z and Kanye and without hesitation, he answered “Jay-Z,” as if it should have been obvious. And it probably should have been a given seeing as Beyonce worked with Michelle on a campaign to end childhood obesity and Jay was present at Obama’s inauguration. President Obama also stated that he likes Kanye and thinks he’s very talented, but after the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards incident where Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift, he still thinks that he’s a jerk. Obama: “Although, I like Kanye … He’s a Chicago guy. Smart. He’s very talented.” Reporter: “Even though you called him a jackass?” Obama: “He is a jackass.
